This is an opportunity to become trained in benthic macroinvertebrate collection techniques, afterwhich one can form an ongoing volunteer relationship with the Clallam County StreamKeepers.  The StreamKeepers use their macroinvertebrate collection to calculate the Benthic Index of Biological Integrity, which measures the overall ecological health of stream systems.
