At this event there will be planting of native trees and shrubs along the streamside, removing invasive weeds using garden tools, and putting protectors around native plants to protect them from vole munching.

Help to restore salmon habitat along Canyon Creek, a tributary to the Snoqualmie River. Tasks will include planting native trees and shrubs along the streamside, removing invasive weeds using garden tools, and putting protectors around native plants to protect them from vole munching. This event offers volunteers the opportunity to be a good steward of the land, improving flood control, water quality, and fish/wildlife habitat. Plus you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our northwest stream ecosystems. The location of this event is near Fall City and Beaver Lake, close to HWY 202.

No training required, and all tools and snacks provided. Be prepared to get dirty, meet others, and have fun! Volunteers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
