Join us for Duwamish Alive!

Come join us as hundreds of volunteers roll up their sleeves to work on multiple simultaneous habitat restoration projects along the Duwamish River. Volunteer at any of the sites along the Duwamish River; pull weeds, mulch planting areas, plant native vegetation, and pick up debris and trash in the restoration areas.

Clean, healthy habitats with native plants provide food and shelter for wildlife, including salmon, bald eagles, osprey, and great blue herons. No experience necessary, everyone can join in. Event takes place rain or shine. Kids are welcome- kids under 10 should have one-to-one adult supervision.

The sites are:

 Hamm Creek Estuary in South Park
 Roxhill Bog in West Seattle
 Gateway Park North/8th Ave. S. in Georgetown
