Longfellow Creek and the Longfellow Creek Legacy trail run through this great Seattle Parks Department Natural Area.  Several large second growth trees shade the entire site.  The stream meanders and a bridge overlooks it.  If your lucky, you'll see the an owl fishing or a coyote hunting.  Our group has been restoring the forest around the creek for 2 1/2 years.  We have removed over 500 yards of Ivy and Blackberries and imported over 500 yards of mulch.  Our restored sites total about 2.5 acres and we have planted about 4000 native plants.  Help us continue restoring this beautiful site!
