Streamkeepers mission statement: Streamkeepers is Clallam County
government's watershed public-involvement program, providing volunteer
opportunities in the effort to protect and restore local streams. Our
goals are to collect and provide high-quality data and to facilitate other
stewardship opportunities.
Streamkeeper volunteers perform a variety of tasks in the interests of
watershed stewardship: monitoring streams; managing, analyzing, and
reporting on data; developing educational materials; and interacting with the
public. We have tasks for all ages, abilities, and interests.
Usually a brief interview is enough to get started as a Streamkeeper volunteer.
