Join us at the Woodland Park Zoo’s first-ever Wild About Water event on Sunday, August 17th, 2008 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Woodland Park Zoo will celebrate water and raise awareness of the many ways in which animals – from frogs to flamingos, salmon to otters – rely upon this precious resource. Zoo visitors will come away with engaging ideas for what they can do to help ensure clean water for people and wildlife alike, from helping with restoration projects in our local streams and shorelines, to finding new ways to conserve water at home.

The event will take place in the zoo’s Family Farm meadow and will feature information booths, live entertainment, keeper talks on some of the zoo’s many water-loving animals, and hands-on activity stations.

We hope you can join us on August 17th!
