Create 10 new waterfront parks and natural areas

Puget Sound’s shorelines should be easy to reach. And when you go, the experience should be a rich one. Stick your toes in the mud if you want. Dip your hand in the water, watch fingerlings and shorebirds, perhaps even spot the elusive Mud Monster. That’s what MudUp’s all about—restoring and creating access to Puget Sound shorelines. The goal: Establish 10 new parks and natural areas by June 2009.

Check out the MudUp calendar below to find all sorts of restoration activities. Anyone can participate. Sign up with a friend or bring the family, either way it’ll be splat-out fun. It’s time to get dirty for the Sound. So consider yourself mudded.
