Muddy People everywhere!

Hi there, Fluxus. So you've noticed the muddy people, have you? I'm so glad. These muddy people are some of my biggest fans and supporters. Not only do they tirelessly work along the shorelines, digging invasive species, hauling giant bags of oysters, and dragging creosote-encrusted logs out of the water, but they have also taken to the streets to be some of my biggest advocates for the cause. You never know where a pack of muddy people will pop up, but you can recognize them by their muddy clothing and unrelenting commitment to helping me get back home. So if you happen to see a muddy person at a summer festival, or on the ferry, or at a farmers' market, and they ask you if you've seen the Mud Monster, don't be shy! Introduce yourself, and listen to what these muddy people have to say. They'll tell you about my plight and the state of the Sound, and if you're lucky, they might even give you a MudUp button or tell you how you can win a free t-shirt by spotting me.

Some might say that the muddy people have taken their commitment to the Sound a bit too far by taking muddiness to the streets, but I say the muddier the better, no matter what the occasion! if you'd like to help the muddy people out, you can download your own "Lost!" posters from this site and distribute them in your local community. The more the muddier! With all this help, I know I'll get back home to my beloved shorelines eventually, and people will always know where to find me. I'm tired of being a lost monster.
