What do I do about my local beach? It's full of trash! —Rusty

Rusty, trash on beaches is something that makes me so angry. But the good news is that we've got lost of people out there making a difference and cleaning up trash piece by piece. Check out this guy, Jan Klippert, who has organized over 500 volunteers for trash cleanups along the Washington coast. And while you're at it, download the MudUp Trash Tracker game. It'll help you keep track of your own trash pickup efforts, and if you get 100 points, you can win a surprise! Piece by piece, we can get our beaches clean again. And then maybe I can finally go back home!
