Restore

Up one level

Restore 100 miles of shorelines

Let’s face it, we haven’t always been so good to Puget Sound’s shorelines.  It’s led to broken habitats and disjointed ecosystems. Salmon are cranky, mollusks are cranky, shorebirds are really cranky, and the Mud Monster ran away from home.  Not a good situation.  That’s why MudUp was created—to restore and protect Puget Sound shorelines.  The goal: Restore 100 miles of Puget Sound shoreline by June 2009.  Go to the MudUp community center to learn more.

Check out the MudUp calendar below to find all sorts restoration activities.  Anyone can participate.  Sign up with a friend or bring the family, either way it’ll be splat-out fun.  It’s time to get dirty for the Sound.  So consider yourself mudded.
